Platinum
Mortgage was incorporated in June of 1997. The
company was formed by merging Exclusive Home
Mortgage and Hometown Mortgage which were owned by
Beth Miller, who now serves as President and Co-
Owner. The company's success over the last 10 years
can be greatly attributed to the additional owners;
Shirley Ham who serves as CFO and Terry Clark who
serves as CEO.
In 1997 Platinum had 13
employees. Currently, Platinum's staff consist of 23
loan officers and 31 support staff. The Main office
is located in a 7500 sqft, building in Madison.
Additional branches are located in Huntsville,
Decatur and Athens, Alabama. Platinum is also
licensed for business in the states of Tennessee,
Georgia, and Florida.
In 2005,
Platinum Mortgage became a lender while others out
source their loans, Platinum remains strong and
continues to do in-house underwriting and closing.
Combined with the latest technology Platinum's
ability to expedite the closing of loans is
unchallenged in the area. Known for being the
largest government lender, Platinum Mortgage ranks
#1 in north Alabama and #3 in the state for
originating government backed loans.
As Platinum continues with their
future growth the philosophy will never change.

home buyers and minorities achieve the chance for
